Employee Dashboard
April, 2026
Designed the employee dashboard for CollectivWork HRMS — a single screen that gives every employee a complete picture of their workday without switching between modules.
CollectivWork HRMS is a comprehensive employee self-service portal built to reduce friction for everyday workplace needs — attendance, payroll, leave, agreements, team visibility, all in one place.
This project focuses on the employee dashboard — the heart of the portal. The goal was simple but hard to execute: surface the most critical HR data an employee needs without overwhelming them. Everything that matters, right where you need it. No switching between modules, no digging through menus.

COLOR PALLET & TYPOGRAPHY
The visual language was kept clean and purposeful. DM Sans was chosen as the typeface — it's modern, highly legible at small sizes, and works well across data-heavy interfaces.
The color system uses five intentional colors. Green (#12B76A) for positive status and success states. Blue (#0086C9) for primary actions and navigation. Yellow (#FDB022) for warnings and pending states. Red (#FD4438) for alerts and errors. Near-black (#1F1F21) as the base for text and depth.
Every color has a job. Nothing is decorative.

EMPLOYEE DASHBOARD
The employee dashboard is the heart of the CollectivWork HRMS portal. Designed to give every employee a complete picture of their workday at a single glance — from live clock-in status and leave balance to payroll, agreements, and team visibility. No switching between modules, no digging through menus. Everything that matters, right where you need it.

ADD WIDGETS
One of the key interactions in CollectivWork is the customisable dashboard. Employees have different priorities — some care about leave balance, others about timesheets. The Add Widget feature lets users personalise their workspace by dragging and dropping widgets directly from a modal onto the dashboard canvas.

QUICK ACTIONS
Quick Actions transforms how employees navigate the portal. Instead of hunting through the sidebar, users simply type a keyword — 'leave', 'attendance', 'payroll' — and the system surfaces the most relevant action shortcuts instantly. It's command-bar speed inside an HR portal.

THE END
CollectivWork HRMS was designed with a real employee's workday in mind. Every widget, every data point, and every interaction has a purpose behind it — no filler, no decoration for its own sake.
The dashboard is the first thing an employee sees every morning. It should feel calm, clear, and immediately useful. That was the standard every design decision was held to.
